Patnitop is the most popular tourist spot of Jammu region. Located 112 kms from Jammu this famous hill resort is perched on a beautiful plateau, at an altitude of 2024 meters across which the Jammu-Srinagar Highway passes. This region has many options for skiing and the place has thick sheets of snow during the winter months. Sanasar, which is located at a distance of seventeen kilometers from the town of Patnitop is very famous for the paragliding base that is located here. Golf courses are also present in the region, and there are options aplenty for sightseeing and having fun. Skiing equipments and wooden sledges are available on hire at Patnitop and Sanasar. How to Reach By Train By Bus


Patnitop, being well connected to Jammu & its capital city of Srinagar, can be easily reached through a network of buses from Pathankot, Jammu and Srinagar. Local buses and taxis can be taken directly to Patnitop, and trains can be taken to the nearest city.

Lohri
Lohri is famously known as Makar sankranti all over India. Lohri festival is also celebrated as Makar Sakranti. It is celebrated on 13th January to welcome the beginning of spring. 



Baisakhi
 Baisakhi festival is also celebrated on 13th April; Baisakhi is the ingestion festival of the north India. It is also the day when Guru Gobind Singh established the Khalsa sect. Baisakhi is mainly known as the ingestion festival and is deliberated favorable particularly for marriages. 



Jhiri Mela

Milad-ud-Nabi is remarked in Srinagar in the month of April or May. The prophets’ birthday is celebrated with specific passion at the Hazratbal Mosque, when its blessed relic, a lock of the Prophets hair is showed to the devotees.



Eid-ul-Zoha
Eid-ul-Zoha is organized in the month of in July. It observe occasion Prophet Abraham, who agreed to sacrifice his son to God.

Chaitre Chaudash is organized in the month of March-April at the village Uttar Behni
